I don't know what caused it, though I expect Openfire. Fixed with a restart.

Known Issues
21st December 2008

Unable to connect to some servers, amongst them Gmail.com and Igniterealtime.org.
It seems to be related to running Openfire inside a FreeBSD Jail. [strike]I'm trying to figure out a fix. I've found a patch for Openfire 3.5.1. I'm trying to figure out if anything has been changed in the patched file between then and Openfire 3.6.2.
Patch doesn't seem to have fixed it.
Suggestions are welcome.
Fixed!

I'll be upgrading Openfire and MySQL sometime before or during the weekend. Expect some downtime.
Completed without a hitch. Go, go FreeBSD.

Now on FreeBSD!
4th September 2008

I've moved Openfire to FreeBSD7 - It should rid us of the memory leaks and the instability. Everything seems to be working except MSN, I'm not sure if that's my firewall, the gateway, or just MSN being a prick.
Edit: I've disabled the gateway till I get it working. I've checked the gateway ( by downgrading to the version that was working ) and gone through my firewall and it shouldn't be it - so we're left with two possibilities, that, for some reason, the gateway just doesn't plain work when running on FreeBSD or that it's MSN.
It's been fixed.

Instability and Other Issues.

Something is still obviously wrong. I'm trying to find out what it is. It seems to be running stable now though, after a restart.
Edit: It's our old friend Memory Leak. Let's hope downgrading Java fixed it.
If you experience any instability or other issues, please do contact me.

Upgrade failed. I've restored version 3.5.2. Gateways are gone, yes. I'll try to have them back up ASAP.
Upgrade successful.
Guess I spoke too soon. Group chats don't work. I'm working on it.
